The Eye of Arctos is an upcoming visual novel about tradition, personal rebellion, and turning your back on an all-powerful malevolent god. This is a very short, very rough demo of that story, written, coded, and drawn by one person. It takes about five minutes to read through.

You are Aurelia Burns, a young woman tasked since childhood to be the ritual executioner to the Dreamer.  The people who end up on your chopping block - members of the community you are desperate to protect - are determined by the secret musings of three powerful Council members dedicated to Its worship in the seat under the mountain. Such is Its will.
